Hike up your lederhosen with Adler Oktoberfest. This German style Märzen is a traditionally brewed Oktoberfest using Munich and Vienna malt from Germany and hopped with all German hops. It has a slight biscuity aroma, bready malt flavor with a touch of light toast and offers a slight caramel finish.

On draft at brewery served in a tulip fridge cold. Light amber with khaki colored head. Aroma is oddly fruity, but also malty. The taste is more of the same. Almost certainly ale yeast, but there is some genuine malt. Earthy moderate hop flavor and bitterness. Imagine a very lowly hopped APA. Thin bodied with average carbonation. Overall, not my favorite oktoberfest, but a decent beer, if that makes sense. Numerical score is low because it does not fit the style in my opinion.

Standard marzen color with great rocky head. Cracker and malt, slight hop bite. Moderate carbonation. A winner. great mouthfeel. Slight peppery flavor in the back end. Not sure what it’s from. Average overall but really good from a scratch brewery. Refreshing.

I tried this at the Brewery in Fishers, IN. It poured a clear yellow with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had slight bread base. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was a touch of sweetness with toast. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with decent carbonation. Overall it was a good beer.
