The beer is a hazy lemony yellow color, topped with a thin white head, dissipating quickly into a thin mist.
Aroma is slightly sour, with that gruit ale smell. Some heather flower, with a bit of sour floral aroma. Not as intense as the Heavyweight two druids, but still pretty solid.
Flavor is light, starting out with a sweet estery maltiness. Some floral flavors that i can't place, fading quickly into a mild sour finish. Pretty light bodied, with high carbonation. Smooth and pretty easy drinking. A bit of hop presence in the flavor, mostly at the very tail end. A lingering sour floral aftertaste.
Interesting. Not my favorite from these guys, but a good rendition of the gruit style, maybe toned down a bit for your non beer geek drinkers.
