On cask at Willibrew. Pours a black color with a half inch of frothy khaki head. No lacing. Aromas of chocolate and coffee. Maybe a hint of cherries. Not picking up on much hops. The taste is dark chocolate upfront followed by a nice cherry flavor. Espresso and some chocolate syrup. Maybe some light floral hops but there isn't much of a hop presence. Finishes with some dark cherries and espresso. Creamy mouthfeel from the cask. I'm a bit disappointed from the lack of hops since this is billed as a Black IPA/Dark ale etc, but it works here. Almost seems more like a Porter. That being said it is still a good mix of chocolate, espresso and cherries. Overall, I'd grab it again.
