Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub. Table-stand description: "Unfiltered dark ale brewed with chocolate and black malts infused with Perle hops."
Shaker pint glass presentation. Short-lived 1/2" brown head over the dark brown brew, with no lacing to speak of. Dark, malty, yet slightly hoppy aroma. Taste is of dark malts, no bitterness to speak of, with a delicate hops character at the end. Mouthfeel and drinkability are both excellent. Nice representation of the style.
