German-style refillable growler filled at the brewpub.
First pint glass pours with a frothy 3/4" light tan head, which lasted nicely for a growlered brew, and plentiful delicate lacing. Deep copper brew, with an aroma of light spicing and biscuity malts. Taste is warm malts upfront, a tad of nutmeg in the center, and a hoppy little close. Enough spicing here to remind you it's the holidays, but not so much to make you put the glass down for more than a minute. Mouthfeel is pleasingly smooth, and drinkability is excellent as well. This has "get a couple growlers for the holiday meal" written all over it.
