Light yellowy gold with a small head. Sweet grainy aroma with a nice blend of simple UK malts and hops. The taste is similar. Well-blended but uneventful. Still this is a good US bitter, and what more can you ask for. Herbal/green hop flavors come into play in the drying finish as well. Mouthfeel is light, even for cask, but drinkability is good. Nice.

Another brew sampled during my stop to willibrew.
Served in a pint class chilled temp. The beer is slightlycloudy orange gold color with a thin surface layer of bleached white head resting on the brew.
Aroma is fairly mild with some earthy hops floating out of the glass. Not too much else on the nose.
First sip reveals a lite bodied brew and fine tingly carbonation. Flavor is light caramel and toffee up front which rolls to a grainy middle and finishes with the same earthy hops from the nose. A very easy to drink brew and at 4.8%, one hell of a session brew IMO.
This is a small beer from the grains of the Willi Whammer.
