64oz growler from Willibrew. Pours a dark brown with ruby hues and an inch of khaki head. Medium amount of lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, earth, chocolate, and some light floral hops. A hint of charcoal. Not much of a nose. The taste is a blend of roasted malts, charcoal, bitter dark chocolate, floral and piney hops. Hints of citrus towards the finish with more char and earth. Dark chocolate, earthy finish. Body is a bit on the light side with a mild alcohol presence. Overall, a pretty good Imperial Black IPA I hope they brew again.
