This is a wonderful space, with a full two stories worth of height. Even so, back here in the pub, the light isn't quite enough to be sure of the color of the beer. It appears a dark amber. The beer itself is clear, but the color is murky (if that makes any sense). Just a bare skimming of foam on top.
Sweet scent with a caramel tang. As it warms, more citrus develops.
This is definitely wam and flat, with barely a prickle of animation on the tongue.
At first it seems a simple, syrupy malt with sour lemon hops. I was unimpressed at first, but as the beer warms, I too warm to it. More caramel unfolds in the malt, in the scent. A slight resin lingers in the finish.
A unassuming, companiable beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
