I chose this beer to go with my lunch of Shepard's Pie, and it was a good accomplice. It had a rich smokeyness that went well with a meat pie. Described by the brewery as a smoked malt stout brewed with 2-row barley, Rye, Chocolate Wheat, Brown, Peat Smoked & Biscuit malts this beer had some complexity to it. Quite enjoyable; plus I had to have at least one stout as it was St Patty's Day!
