Served in a Willi tumbler.
Very hazy golden-highlighted peach; noticeably unfiltered. Half-inch creamy white head that leaves a filmy sheet. Thin and spotted lacing with good stick.
Juicy hop resin; pine and cannabis (?) in aroma. Slight hints of citrus along with peach, melon, and grapefruit.
Citric notes of lemon and grapefruit, engulfed by a rough pine presence. The hop character is reminiscent of stale herb; yet still juicy. The finish is slick followed by a sharp, floral bitterness. Dark peach and apricot along with burnt hops in the aftertaste.
Medium in body; slick and filmy in spots. The texture is nearly dead on for an unfiltered IPA, but it is watery at times.
As usual, a solid IPA from Dave Wollner. My only complaint is that the growler went down way too quickly.
