A shade or two lighter than black with a thin ring of lace. Hints of roasted malt that go chocolaty in the aroma. A quick and easy porter with suggestions of caramel, chocolate and roasted grain on the palate. Drop of hop bitterness keep the touch of sweetness in check. The 5.8% abv is hidden quite well with no noticeable esters, very clean. Very nice job in this brew and went well with the Cobb salad.
