Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours an opaque brown color. There was a thin tan head that left minimal lacing. Lighter nose. Roasted malts, rye and some hops. The flavor is good. Roasted malts, rye, nutty, some spice earthy with a good amount of bitterness. Nice!

On-tap at the brewpub.
A: Cloudy orange-brown body with a very thin tan head. No better than average.
S: Sweet and roasty, with chocolate, spicy rye, and caramel. Really nice.
T: Vanilla and chocolate up front, with rye and caramel malt close behind. Long, clean, lightly spicy finish. Quite good indeed.
M: Super creamy, fothy, and effervescent. A bit much, but fun.
O: Really, really tasty Brown Ale/Rye Beer hybrid. The rye was an excellent addition to a nice, sweet Brown, giving it plenty of complexity and greater depth. Well worth a shot.
Cheers!
