Been to all three Eppig locations - now closed North Park, the harbour view by OB, and now their Vista location. This is a big open space with plenty of room, a nice outdoor patio area - modern, spacious.
The beers here are of exceptional quality - outstanding lagers and I love the West Coast IPA selection - well made - had their flagship 10:45 To Denver, a taster of Vienna Lager (2018 GABF Gold), and a fantastic oak smoked kolsch - all winners.
Our server was exceptional - I grant you it was quiet when we wandered in at 330 on a Friday, but she offered several tastes and excellent recommendations and was super friendly.
Nice selection of beer - IPAs aplenty, but nice to see high quality lagers, and a kolsh, an altbier, and a really good barley wine. Regret could not try more. Many trips to San Diego and visited many breweries - honestly not sure one that I like better than Eppig. (Note slight bias - I have tired of the hazy IPA thing and if you are looking for that, this is not necessarily the place; but if you want just straight up great beer you got to visit.)

this place is really cool, one of three independent businesses in this little brewery incubator we came across, where upstart breweries can get their own space in this conglomerate and use the equipment there and get the world out and make their beer until they can raise enough capital and interest to move out on their own. i love the idea, and think its a model other cities would do well to adopt. this place will make it for sure, they specialize in lagers, which does not mean boring beer in their case, and everything we had was surprisingly high quality. their kottbusser was my favorite, a style poised to make a comeback here at some point. my girlfriend loved a guava gose, and i thought the kolsch was solid as well. they are classic styles with little twists to make them their own, and they had a huge beer menu with all kinds of stuff on offer, i really couldnt believe how many choices there were in such a small space. the place is minimal with a small bar in the front and some high tables, some sports on tv, a food truck outside servicing all three of the places in the collective, and natural light and good energy. service was fantastic and so was the beer. i am looking forward to watching these guys evolve, delicious beers happening in here right now!

Small store-front brewery in building with 2 other breweries. Room capacity is 43 with small bar and 2 communal tables and counter space around the perimeter and at the roll-up window. About 16 beers on tap, The one I had: 10:45 to Denver was excellent. Great friendly place.

Good selection across different beer styles. Count Maltula was a standout--delicious with great mouthfeel.

Eppig Brewing is located in North Park area of San Diego in an interesting building. It's shared with two other breweries which all had a similar vibe. This is a small-ish brewery that had a small bar area with some more seating along the roll-up window and interior wall.

I had a sampler of two beers, gose and berliner weisse. It's a nice local spot to hang out.
