Had a pint at the Surprise brewpub 2-24-20 for $6.00.
Beer was served light brown with a nice white head.
Nose was non-descript, light wheat present but missing the phenols from the yeast strain.
Taste follows the nose which essentially is a wheat malt based beer, no caramelization present, with light hopping leading to a slightly sweet finish. No expected phenols from the yeast strain present.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and neither smooth or refreshing.
Overall a beer that failed to nail the style.
