Had a $6.00 pint with lunch on 8-22-2020.
Beer was served brown with a decent white head.
Nose was sweet malts and hints of balancing floral hops.
Taste was a moderate malt base that hinted at some sweetness that was balanced well with the hop addition. Was not catching the typical esters and phenols found with some of the German offerings.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall not a bad beer, worthy of the effort and nice to have since i do not see this style made often.
