Double Sound of Freedom IPA - we took our Sound of Freedom and made it with double the amount of hops and increased ABV. Coming in at 9%ABV and 85IBU with almost 5lbs of mosaic hops per barrel. If you're looking for a true to style, bitter and strong West Coast IPA this is the one for you.

Had Double Sound of Freedom at the State 48 brewpub, Surprise, Ariz., on draft into nonic pint.

Pours amber-gold with clarity and 1-finger off-white head, with decent retention, leaving a nice coating of lace down the glass. Fruit and mild caramel malt up front in the aroma, and some hop spice, but mainly fruit. Begins fruity, over moderate carbonation, with moderate caramel malt joining, over a very smooth mouthfeel, with fruit continuing as hop bite kicks in.

A nicely balanced double westy, with a bit more malt than typical.
