Stopped in with the wife 10/10/17
This new place as luck would have it was a stones throw from our motel room in Golden. Tiny and clean with the brewery behind glass windows with cool looking wooden tables and stools. We ordered two flights and the server screwed up my wife's picks so she poured her a second flight at no charge, great form on her part. The girls working were really nice and made us feel very welcome, one of the brewers was at the bar and happy to answer questions about the beer. The beer was quality stuff, wide range of styles all done fairly well, I was pleased with nearly all of them. A couple snack options but not much for food, they do allow ordering a pizza though so that's cool but my wife and I just had liquid dinner. I was a little surprised to find this place in Golden, I predict good things for these guys and recommend you take the time to leave the highway and check them out.....

 

Stopped in here for a sampler and growler fill during our family ski trip to Golden. This is a brand spanking new facility, which lends a bit of sterility to the atmosphere. There are a variety of seating configurations , and the tables are absolutely beautiful - handcrafted by a local artisan. There are six beers in the core iineup - 3 "Belgian inspired" and 3 standard brews (IPA, Session Ale and Imperial Stout). We enjoyed our sampler and I opted for a growler fill of the Blower Pow IPA. We didn't actually order food, but I went with a 4 based on the selection - the usual tasting room snacks, plus an option for local pizza (which is supposed to be very tasty.) Overall, a lovely spot with tasty beer - always a welcome addition to a mountain town!

I have been living in Golden for over a decade and Whitetooth Brewery has been the greatest addition to this red neck /ski bum / outdoor addict town since I moved here. The tasting room was designed as a "tasting room" and I have to admit that it somewhat lacks in ambiance, i.e. generally no music, white walls, concrete floor, too much light, very limited food, etc, but, and this is a huge BUT, the quality of the beers that are being brewed in this place is well making up for all the downfalls. The limited Psychosis 7 double IPA and Truth Dare Consequence imperial stout are two of my favourite brews, but the regular Blower Pow IPA, Speed Metal Stout and Thread The Needle witbier are well worth it as well! If it's summer and you can enjoy the patio with awesome views of the Dogtooth Range of the Purcells, do it! If the brewing room is open because the place is packed (it often is!), go in there and feel like you are part of the place. Seriously, I will never praise this brewery enough! Go taste for yourself!
