Easy Drinkin' IPA. We pulled back the malt and lowered the ABV which let's the Amarillo hops shine through. Kinda like a country guitar solo, crisp and clean, and easy goin'.

This beer was part of the latest drop-off by/from my local, in-person trader, @tone77 & I am curious to try it. I am a self-avowed, self-described hophead, but I don't generally have an affinity for Session IPAs. They generally rely on aroma hops whereas I like bittering hops. Onward!
From the Bottle: ".73mm".
Well, that is a head scratcher, but since it did not prevent me from Pop!ping the cap, I proceeded onwards. My C-Line pour produced just over two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with good retention, leaving behind some solid lacing. Color was solid Gold (SRM = 5), enticing The Gelt Gang of Mammon, Midas & Croesus to join me for a taste. Nose was very citrusy, very much of grapefruit, lemon & orange & now, my mouth was watering. Mouthfeel struck me as being a tad thin, not watery, but thin for the style. I was likewise underwhelmed by the taste. I still tasted citrus fruits, but not as strongly as on the nose. Oh well. Finish was semi-dry, more refreshing than satisfying. YMMV.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation along with hues of amber. It poured with a quarter finger high head that has good retention properties and only settled down slightly.
S: Light aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose—oranges and grapefruit seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of grapefruit citrus along with hints of caramel malts. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't especially flavorful, but is very easy to drink and can be considered sessionable given its low alcohol content.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, little else. Taste is grapefruit, some oranges, slightly dry, light bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall this is an easy drinking beer that I could easily crush several of on a warm day.

Slightly hazy gold, not much lace, disappeared pretty fast. Great nose, lots of pine and grapefruit. A tad dry though probably due to lower abv being a session IPA. Overall good beer.
