Poured into a snifter. An opaque dark brown color with a fizzy and quickly disappearing tan head. Bourbon and cinnamon aroma. A second sniff yielded some roast and chocolate. The cinnamon was most prominent. Same on the taste - the cinnamon almost masked the barrel, but faded a bit allowing the whiskey, chocolate, and roast to peek through. It was a bit overdone IMO and did distract from the other flavors, as the base stout is outstanding. Full bodied with a nice hefty feel that wasn't too sweet.
