Cream Ales are always huge winners or huge losers with me. This was a rare one that actually fit in the middle. This beer was average. Period. It had a great look and smell and had a great feel. The initial taste was really decent, with a hint of vanilla. The after taste is what brought it down though as it had a sweet finish that just didn't mesh well with the hops for me. I can handle beer that is sweet, but this one finished like you chased it with an after dinner mint. Maybe good for some but not for me. It's a beer I could drink every now and again, but not one that I will search out.
