Bottle. Hazy amber. Thick frothy head. Good retention.
Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits with floral notes.
Taste follows the aroma. Hint of shortbread biscuit. Light tea-like astringency.
Rather thin body.

Pours reddish brown into a glass from a bottle. Offwhite is fluffy with poor retention. Flavour is red malts, blood orange, earth and herbal hops. It's quite mild with a balanced and floral aftertaste. I've never tried hibiscus before - which is stated as the maturation bed on the bottle - but I imagine that is the herbal/floral taste that's coming through. Overall, standard red ale with nice balance.
