Copenhagen 1/4 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Black label in The Flying Dutchman’s usual overwritten style with a very long name spelled out in different font and sizes in red and white.
Pours opaque, dark brown mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, bread, rich odor mingling with a sharp sour scent. Sweet milk chocolate, toffee, brown sugar, lactose. Sharp tap of lemon and unripe berries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A quite unusual combination of milk chocolate and and acerbic berries.
