Copenhagen 18/4 2019. 33 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård (web-shop). Very text heavy label as the beer has the longest name. Red, pink and white. Reminds me a bit of a Chris Ware tableau.
Pours hazy orange with a pink hue and a medium-sized head. Settles as fluffy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is tart, fruity bordering on being sour. Unripe berries, green apples, fresh wet grass. On the verge of being acidic. Lighter sweeter odors in the background becoming stronger as the beer warms up.
Medium strong carbonation. Fairly thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by stronger but still pleasant tart sourness. Aftertaste is citric and tart. Fairly short.
More wild than IPA but without the funk. But a pleasant enough bowl of spring berries. I was a a bit confused by a beer from Finland with such a breathtakingly long name. But I can see it is indeed a Flying Dutchman that's behind this.
