3 Keys Brewing & Eatery

Freestanding commercial building on the east side of town a few blocks from the river. Straight bar opposite the entrance seats about 15 with plenty of tables about the room and on the front patio. 20 beers on tap. Friendly bartender. I did not try the food.

Admittedly, this review is about three weeks in the making, nonetheless, here it is...

Stopped in during a slow Monday afternoon, post-Super Bowl Sunday. From the outside the place is pretty much non-descript, but inside you are greeted, not only by the friendly bartenders, but by the beautiful inside of this standalone taproom.

They have quite a few brews to try and they were very welcoming for some guy showing up in the middle of the day. Very impressed and from what I can tell it is a very solid and happening place in the area. Would definitely like to come by with some friends to show them the gem I found...

Went on a semi-busy Saturday afternoon and was able to catch a little bit of sports while enjoying a few brews (did not eat there so can't rate food). Can't complain about the atmosphere or service, as both were pretty good, and from a beer perspective they have a few different styles represented and the beers I had were decent so no complaints.

 

This is a great place with all you would expect from a casual taproom. There were plenty of bar seats and tables, inside and out. The crowd the Thursday afternoon we went was pretty good for a week day, that tells me it is a popular place. If you like IPAs, this is the place; they had at seven or eight regulars and a couple test batches going. We just had the Natchos which were OK but not great but the burgers that came out looked darn good.

Mid sized spot a few miles east of downtown Bradenton, FL.

4 varieties of fresh and tasty NEIPA when I visited, as well as numerous other quality craft on tap options.

Friendly staff, tasty thin crust pizza, comfortable and casual room with ample out door seating options...worthy spot for a visit for quality draft options and tasty n extensive food options...

The owners are amazing. They're veteran owned and operated and employ veterans. They're brewing good stuff over there and the food is amazeballs. Nice small family owned joint with a cool rustic vibe!

 

Down in Fl. visiting kin and went to 9 breweries in the area and this was in the top 3. Service was great , very friendly staff.
Had a flight and unusual but I liked them all. I do not like something like Blue Moon but there Orange Mango Pale was great. I also like that they have certain times where a % of what they sell goes to veteran groups. The owners have fostered like 67 kids and have adopted 3 which shows you what kind of people they are. When I get back down that way I will make sure to stop by again. Good people and good beer.

A funky little place on (I think) the main drag. Large dog-friendly patio. Long bar inside, with tables across and to the side of it. The bar seats around 20. An industrial kind of look; barstools and chairs made from pipeworks.
There were 18 beers on tap. 6 were their own brews and 18 were guest taps. Most of the guests were Florida beers. I did a sampler of four 3 Keys beers, all IPAs and all quite good. Cool paddle in the shape of Florida.
All orders are placed at the bar. Food ordered is brought to your table. We had a quick lunch. The food was good, but nothing special.
This is a nice little place. We have family in Bradenton, so I'm sure I'll be back

They opened two weeks ago.

They aren't serving their beer yet. Scheduled to come on line the first two weeks of January 2017.

At this date they have 20 brews on tap from Green Man, Duck-Rabbit & Highlands in NC to plenty of locals like Cigar City, Coppertail, Jdub's, Funky Buddha, M.I.A. & others.
The food. Small menu, nothing fried but the Bacon Blue Cheeseburger & Pulled Pork tacos sounded very good. I went with the Beer, Bacon & Chicken Waffle sandwich. So good, so messy.
They've a big outdoor seating / eating area. Very chill.
I'll be back when they get their beers on tap.
