Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a 10 oz. snifter glass, this beer draws a seemingly clear, medium copper/amber color with a white head that’s about 1/4 inch thick when first drawn and served. And that’s okay because the glass was filled to the top. Good pour by the bartender. Head settles to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass along with nice big cluster swirls of foam on the beer’s surface. Not much lacing though. Aromas of big toasted caramel malt sweetness along with hints of butterscotch and certainly some booze along with a bit of noble hops. The flavor profile is pretty similar, with big toasted, bready caramel malt sweetness and a hint of butterscotch along with a bit of spice that’s followed by a touch of melon-ish and citrusy hops to round out the flavor profile. Easy drinking for an 11.3% ABV beer. Has a somewhat crisp, mostly smooth and slightly creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel. A very nice beer all around here.

Clear chestnut red with a tan head that settles to a still, smooth surface.
This delivers caramel, toffee and a bit of cough syrup before ruggy graham biscuit qualities change the makeup.
