This Karl Strauss location in Los Angeles is fairly new. I used to work in this part of downtown and the space was formerly occupied by a bank. Wow. The transformation was impressive.
This space is much larger than the downtown San Diego location I usually visit. There's a bar as you walk in and lots of tables for both small and large groups. They also had some private spaces as well.
Our server was very nice and accommodating. Maybe because it's still new, but our group received a lot of free tasters. We ordered shareables, and they were really tasty.
Nice to have a solid place to visit after work. I'm sure this will make our regular rotation.
