From the pint can, it pours a hazy lighter amber color with a nice off-white head that reduces and leaves lacing. Citrus in the nose, followed by a citrus enhanced malt flavor in the mouth.
Note: After a bit, the nose gets sour, so this may not last well - drink early!

16oz can, served in a tulip glass. No date on bottom of can, bought recently on a trip to VA. Let's hope it is fresh.
Appearance: Translucent golden yellow. Thin white skin of foam across the top, with a thick ring, big strands of persistent lacing.
Smell: Fresh cut tropical fruit, orange, a little sweet honey smell.
Taste: Hoppy, but not bitter. Hoppy from citrus notes, and some tropical fruit again. Clean bready malt underneath, and citrus-like mild bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Prickly carbonation, good thickness, not too sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: Nice looking can (black with a metallic emerald logo), good looking beer, nicely balanced beer in aroma, taste, and mouthfeel as well. Easily drinkable, and I feel this could easily pair with a meal as well. Quite good and well done.

Bought a 16 oz can at the Casual Pint in Virginia Beach VA. Poured into a pint glass, a hazy straw yellow color with a medium size foamy head. Head retention is good and there are patchy clumps of foamy lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and some tropical fruit. Not quite a NE IPA, lacks the "juiciness" and "dank" quality but more robust hops, mostly citrus and grassy. Flavor is more of the same, mildly sweet fruit flavors and more grassy type bitterness than a typical NE IPA. Mouthfeel is a bit on the light side, but with good flavoring and bitterness. tasty and goes down easy. A pretty enjoyable IPA!!!!

No canning date.
Pours orange haze.. nice lazy lacing, with a standard head. Aroma is tropical up front. It's so well balanced that I was floored (see below). Tastes so balanced, it's hard to pick out the flavors, but they are all smooth. Oily, mildly dank and delicious. A very good beer front to back.
Never had a Benchtop beer before. Never even heard of them. On a family visit to Richmond (for other beers) 2 weeks ago, I was shopping in a beer store. A man was attempting to put a case of Proven Theory on the counter...but the cardboard case failed, and beers fell on the floor. A couple of them started spewing. My wife and I helped clean up the mess, which had a VERY good aroma. That mess introduced us to Proven Theory. We bought a 4 pack based on floor cleanup. True story.
