Another candidate for an "IPA - Imperial NE" category!!!! Purchased a 16 oz. can at The Casual Pint in Virginia Beach VA. Poured into a pint glass, this beer features the standard hazy straw yellow NE IPA color. Good size foamy white head with good retention and foamy bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild grapefruit and tropical fruits. Pleasant but not overpowering. Taste is more of the same with some moderate bitterness. Very pleasant but the flavors were also strong enough to stand up to the Indian food I accompanied it with!!!! Mouthfeel is rich enough, smooth with some bitterness and overall very appealing!!! I have had a few NE style beers lately (along with American Gose's and Sours-Kettle beers). This one holds up very nicely!!!!

Look: Slightly hazy yellow with a thin white head.
Smell: Juicy and citrusy with a bitter floral edge to it. All hops.
Taste: Tangerine, grapefruit pith, bitter mango, dried peach, and grassy notes. There is a lightly sweet malt and a mild alcohol note.
Feel: Smooth. Not as juicy and the style leads on. Mild plus bitterness. Mild alcohol that is more flavor then burn. Carbonation is also a bit too high for the style.
Overall: A smooth and citrusy IPA. Judging it just as an IPA its Good but compared to other NEIPAs this thing is pretty far off the the top tier or even the above average one. Drinks easy but average overall.

Tropical, citrusy aromas, comes through bigger in the taste, restrained sweetness balances with bitter well. latest batch is creamier, though still finishes dry. I could crush way too many of these at 8%.

Poured a golden orange body with minimal head and soapy, hoppy aroma. Smooth, clean, crisp, soapy easy drinking beer as a lighter bodied beer and then the finish actually has some bitter sweetness. Little bit of everything in this beer which is def "old school" IPA and is enjoyable.
