Appearance - drank it out the can, N/A.
Aroma - some notes of coffee, less sweet than the actual taste.
Taste - some sweetness at the start and edges, but main note is dark chocolate covered coffee beans. Maybe even a little bit of a smokiness towards the very end.
Mouthfeel - Mild carbonation, but that's not something I notice a lot.
Overall - a pretty good porter, not too overpowering in any regard.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing, though.

S: A very good aroma of malt, chocolate, coffee, and maple syrup.

T: Tasted of a decent amount of malt (present throughout), a hint of maple syrup (hangs along the edges), a good shot of chocolate, and some coffee notes as well. A solidly executed flavor. This is one of those tastes that gets better as it goes along, with the chocolate and coffee emerging to the forefront. Well done.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is a likable, easy to drink beer. Worth a look.

Poured a heavy black beer with tan head and tan lace ring. Smell is mix of maple syrup and coffee (not bacon). Smooth, creamy, mild lactic chocolate feel, with mild java/coffee dryness mixing with a maple syrup sweetness. Enjoyable and slow sipping.

Poured at the brewery. I've had this one a few times now, and I must say it is really a standout "breakfast" style dark brew. The maple and coffee in the nose really sing, and these both come through on the flavor profile. Low bitterness, medium-bodied. Carbonation is spot on for style lending a smooth mouthfeel. Extremely well-made. Benchtop is serious business.
