L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of bourbon, wood, malt, chocolate, coffee, and caramel.
T: Tasted of a light char (very fleeting), a lot of malt (present throughout), a moderate amount (quite subtle), a hint of caramel, a ton of bourbon (pretty boozy), and a tinge of coffee. This is a strong, booze-forward flavor. It mellows out after awhile, and all the other elements emerge, but it's quite aggressive. Pretty tasty, though.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth, warm finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made stout. Worth a look.
