The 7% ABV is not apparent but the with its medium/medium high bodied this beer may not be as crushable as its label seems to claim. It’s opaque orangish yellow color makes it an ugly AIPA.

12/27/19 stamp. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Hazy light amber/gold with 1-finger off-white head with good retention and solid lacing.

S: Big blast of onion and garlic off the top with some peach, apricot and mango in the background but the herbal notes dominate.

T: Flavor is less oniony with more peach, mango, pineapple, and lime but still the onion character is there in the finish. Low bitterness.

M: Smooth and creamy, easy to drink, low carbonation, medium bodied.

O: Will try my other cans and edit if no onion/garlic but it’s there on this one and heavy.

There is a date on the white label of the can but it looks like the machine might have been out of ink. There are some illegible indentations with a few bits of ink, so I can't read the date.

Appearance: The body of the beer is opaque and beige with some lighter burnished gold colors and some darker brown-orange as well. The head is medium-sized, fluffy, white, and has good retention. Good lacing.

Aroma: It has a nice soft mango scent with a bit of tangerine and blood orange.

Taste: It has a light bit of mango flavor up front, then there is a bit of lemon pulp flavor, and just a very light grain flavor towards the end.

Mouthfeel: It is smooth and easy to drink with a very mild bitterness which is akin to the pith of an orange.

Overall: It is a very solid New England IPA type of beer. The beer has a pleasant and soft tropical fruit flavor and aroma which works well with the smoothness of the beer. I would recommend it and I would definitely drink more of this.

L: 16 oz can from 10/31/2018. Pours a hazy orange golden color with minimal head that leaves no lacing.
S: Mango, papaya, pineapple, and orange with some breadyness from the malt.
T: Similar to the nose. Tons of mango and pineapple with a nice smooth finish and minimal bitterness.
F: Medium body and carbonation with a nice mouthfeel and juicey hop flavors that linger on the tongue.
O: A great NE style IPA. Benchtop is really putting out some great beers.
