There is a date code on the label near the far left side, but it is stamped black on a dark green background which makes it difficult to read: "11/10/22"

Appearance: It has a medium gold body with a slight haze to it. The head is very large and white. The head stands very well in the glass although it is quite large and shows no intention of going down. As the head barely moves down it leaves nice sheets of lacing on the glass.

Aroma: It starts with a hint of wildflower then a big dose of cabbage kicks in. It seems to be that way each time the nose approaches the glass. The wildflower character is alright but the cabbage note is off-putting.

Taste: There doesn't really seem to be much flavor towards the front of the mouth. The center of the palate is where things kick in. It has this old vegetable flavor with some bitter roots and overcooked herbs. The back of the palate is more overcooked herbs and it finishes with this mint character. Alcohol pops in at random times while drinking the beer.

Mouthfeel: It feels medium-light and syrupy with a strong woody bitterness that makes it awkward to drink. Carbonation feels low for the syrupy body.

Overall: It is a bit difficult to know where to start with the overall impression of this beer, because it is difficult to drink, it has this odd vegetal flavor, there is this unwelcome overcooked herbal bitterness, and although the beer is high in alcohol it does nothing to hide it. I don't recommend the beer and I won't be buying it again. I picked this up because I really enjoy Benchtop's Proven Theory and buy it regularly. I thought this was a higher ABV version of the beer because the label states that this is a "TRIPLE INDIA PALE ALE." This is just awkward and disappointing.

Poured a cloudy-gold body with minimal head and lace. The beer has a hopped up aroma with mild sweet notes. The beer is sweet and hoppy with a citric bitterness and mostly a grapefruit sweetness with great balance.
