4/20/19 production date. Served in a Duvel tulip.
A: Very light hazy yellow with 1-finger eggshell head with average retention and skimpy lacing.
S: Lemon-lime and orange with pine, kind of subdued
T: More lime than lemon, with a lot of pine with orange and grapefruit but a bit muted in the overall impact. Bitterness is low.
M: Smooth with even carbonation and light-medium body. Highly drinkable.
O: A bit of a let-down as Benchtop has really established itself in my mind as really pushing the limit on delivering hop aroma and flavor. This one falls a little short but still, nothing wrong with it. Just a little too mellow in the aroma and flavor.
