L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a golden yellow color and a hazy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A good, but not spectacular, aroma of hops, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of citrus fruit (a bit of grapefruit), a decent bit of hops (not a big component), some melon, a sour quality, light malt (mostly in the finish), and a lot of tropical fruit (pineapple). An interesting hybrid flavor that doesn't always work. The IPA and sour beer elements sometimes mesh well, but sometimes don't. Still, an interesting taste.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Everything in this beer doesn't always work, but it's a fascinating idea. Worth a try.
