No canned on date. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Hazy lemon yellow with healthy 1-2 finger white frothy head with good retention and lacing.
S: Aroma is muted and mainly light pineapple and black tea.
T: Flavor is even more muted with a muddled profile with most earthy, herbal black tea notes and light and thin citrus character with some tannins. Low-medium bitterness and minimal fruity esters.
M: Watery and thin with light body and slightly astringent feel overall.
O: Even excellent players strike out sometimes and this is a K for Benchtop. Not even close to their usual high quality offerings. Not sure what happened here but this is not a good effort.

Poured a yellow-orange gold body with decent head and an aroma that is mild and earthy hops. Smooth, light, a tad watery, has basically a mild citric hop taste with some dry earthiness and no real malt presence. Had this in a can so don't know if I got some metallic notes or what, but this beer comes across plain with minimal hops and just a smattering of malts.
