I don't see a date listed on the can.
Appearance: The body is a beige-orange color that is mostly opaque, with the exception of where the glass tapers a bit. The head is medium-sized, white, and fluffy with various pockmarks over its surface. It has very good retention.
Aroma: The beer has a light mango and cut pineapple aroma. There is a hop bine oil scent to the beer and just a touch of alcohol that comes through from time to time.
Taste: Notes of pine and mint mix with grapefruit to create this woodsy and citrusy flavor mixture. The beer takes on more of a citrus character up front then it migrates more towards pine at the middle with a bit of mint. The pine comes out more towards the back of the mouth and really shines in the aftertaste, while the citrus character pops when the beer resides mostly on the palate. After a while a very light peach flavor shows up in the aftertaste as well.
Mouthfeel: It is smooth and light boded; very easy to drink. The beer has very little bitterness and it comes across the same way grapefruit pulp would. The can states that this is "7.0% ABV" and it does a great job of hiding it.
Overall: It's a standout beer with a nice citrus character on the palate, that has a minty pine-like finishing note. The transition between flavors really makes the beer interesting and enjoyable. This would be a great beer for almost any occasion. For food pairings it would probably go best with a lighter fare of fish or salad. I would recommend it and I would definitely drink it again.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a yellow / orange color and a mostly cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of hops, tropical fruit, citrus fruit, and malt.
S: Tasted of light malt notes (mostly in the finish), a good amount of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), some tropical fruit (pineapple, especially), and a moderate amount of hops (not overdone). Like the aroma, this is a solid flavor. It has a nice, hoppy bite without being obnoxious about. Balanced and flavorful.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: In general, a likable, well done IPA. Worth a look.
