L: Poured from a crowler to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish / orange color and a fairly cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of citrus fruit, hops, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish; not a huge factor), a good amount of tropical fruit (a little bit of mango), a lot of citrus fruit (orange and grapefruit, in particular), and a fair amount of hops (not too much, though). A well-formed, subtle, and easy going flavor. Not overly sweet or hoppy, but a balance of both.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made, easy to like DIPA. Worth a try.
