Copenhagen 19/2 2022. 47,3 cl can from Mikkeller v& Friends Bottle shop, Torvehallerne, Kbh. K. What looks like a Native American drawing of a Mexican wrestler mask with wings on the off-white can.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, slightly toasted odor mingling with citric sour scent. Caramel, toffee, bread, lightly toasted malts. Light notes of lemon and white wine
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light sour undertone. Lingers for a bit.
More Lager than Foeder Aged.

The label on the can says "KEEP COLD AND DRINK FRESH" but I don't see any date listed on the can or label.
Appearance: The body is a very hazy orange-gold color that is on the lighter side appearance-wise. It has a very short fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. No head retention or lacing.
Aroma: There is a very faint lager yeast aroma that barely exists and requires a lot of effort to draw into the nose.
Taste: Up front there is a pleasant herbal yeast character. Towards the middle of the palate there are soft notes of oak and cinnamon. After that there is a hint of cream corn and it finishes with a light herbal bitterness at the back of the tongue.
Mouthfeel: Drinkability is good and it has a light, smooth body. Bitterness is a bit high for the lack of malt character in the beer.
Overall: The flavors are good in this beer and it has a decent mouthfeel. The can states that this is a "Foeder Aged Coastal Heirloom Lager Bier" and the website states that this is a "Foeder Aged Vienna Lager made with local Heirloom Tuxpeno Corn." As a Vienna Lager is vastly falls short, but the foeder wood character definitely comes through in the flavor, and there is some light but noticeable corn sweetness to the beer. The aroma is almost nonexistent and the appearance leaves much to be desired. The highlight of the beer is the foeder but the beer itself doesn't seem to offer much. I probably wouldn't buy it again and it's not a beer I'd recommend.
