Good beer!!!! The first Beer Advocate rater got it right as a Pumpkin Ale. The 16 oz can called it a Pumpkin Gose. This is not a Gose!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass. Fairly big foamy white head with better than average retention. Minimal lacing. Nice gold color, slightly hazy. Aroma is pumpkin spice and lactose. Taste is very prominent and interesting. The pumpkin spice is very strong, but not "powdery" and annoying like so many pumpkin beers. The lactose and slight sourness are spot on and there is a sweet aspect too (I wouldn't be able to detect marshmallow but there is sweet element.) Mouthfeel is rich and strong. I had this beer with Indian food and it stood up very nicely to the curry. Complex flavoring and nicely carbonated, this would be good for sipping or with a strong dish.

16oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours an almost clear golden color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a film on top

S- aroma smells like a pumpkin marshmallow candle; big creamy marshmallow aroma with pumpkin spices, caramel and vanilla. Undertones of lemon and toasted wheat

T- The creamy caramel doesn't quite convey as much on the taste. Up front it tastes like a gose; tart lemon and wheat. Mid-palate does start to bring out some sweet marshmallow, as well as creamy vanilla. The finish gives light pumpkin spices, with cinnamon and nutmeg popping. Lingers of creamy toffee

M- medium-light body with moderate carbonation, slightly foamy mouthfeel and semi-dry finish

O- one of the more unique beers I've had in a while, it smells just like a pumpkin candle, which isn't a bad thing
