I don't see a date listed on the can or label.
Appearance: The beer is an opaque, medium-light shade of golden-brown. The head is white, fluffy, and short. It has average retention and nice lacing.
Aroma: Some alcohol comes through along with a muddled aroma of mango. The aroma is muted.
Taste: There's some orange pith and grapefruit pulp flavor. It tastes very grassy. There's a bit of melon character to the beer. It teeters on the lower edge of average.
Mouthfeel: There is a grassy bitterness that sometimes comes from herbs that are overcooked and it isn't that pleasant on the palate. Otherwise, the beer feels fairly light. Drinkability is medium-low.
Overall: It wasn't that enjoyable, mostly because the beer tasted too grassy and it had this odd bitter herb quality which made it harder to drink than a typical New England IPA or even a standard IPA. The combination of hop choices in this beer seemed to be at odds with each other rather than working in concert. As a whole the beer just felt off and I wouldn't recommend it or drink it again. It might be worth trying as a single but I wouldn't buy a 4-pack.
