I don't see any date listed on the can.

Appearance: The body is a pale lemon-yellow color that is nearly opaque, but allows light through and some extremely hazy shadows. It has a medium-sized, thick, fluffy white head that has ripples and valleys with a few bubbles that are a bit larger on the surface. It has excellent retention and leaves wonderful sheets of lacing on the glass.

Aroma: It has a nice aroma of tangerine and grapefruit. The aroma is good and about medium-strength.

Taste: It opens with a bit of tart orange peel, then quickly turns into a festival of grains. It tastes a bit like rye and wheat flour with a light bit of lemon. It tastes a bit like a multi-grain cracker with some lemon. The finish is lemon and pumpernickel bread.

Mouthfeel: It is soft, pillowy, light, and smooth. It drinks like a dream. It has a mellow bitterness which is akin to tasting slightly bitter lemon zest.

Overall: The beer seems to have a lot more grain character than hops, but it still manages to be quite tasty. If you enjoy trying different breads and crackers then this beer will likely be up your alley. It has a nice citrus hop flavor which comes across mostly as lemon in the flavor, and a little orange-like in the aroma. There is a lot to enjoy with this beer but it isn't something I would buy often. I would still drink it again.

Purchased a16 oz can at The Casual Pint in Virginia Beach VA. Pours a hazy straw yellow color with a big foamy white head and patches of lacing all along the pint glass. Aroma and taste feature mostly tropical and citrus fruit - pineapple and orange. The taste includes mild bitterness and the characteristic "dank" earthy aspect of the NE IPA. Mouthfeel is crisp, mildly bitter and rich enough. I have had a lot of NE IPAs recently and this one is a good example of the style.
