I don't see any date listed on the can or the label.
Appearance: The body has a light haze and a nice pale straw color. The head is large, white, and creamy with somewhat of a rocky surface with wisps of lacing at the edges. Very good retention and lacing.
Aroma: There is a light aroma of corn which is quickly followed by a somewhat herbal and spicy hop aroma which has notes of bay leaf and dried oregano.
Taste: Up front there is a spicy hop flavor what has a light mixture of green pepper, black peppercorn, and bay leaf. Towards the middle there is a pleasant grain and corn mixture giving it this light sweet taste which is very pleasant. It rolls off the palate with a light bit of lemon towards the back-end and at the finish. It's a very well made beer that is very flavorful and pleasant to drink. It drinks like it has a purpose.
Mouthfeel: It feels light on the palate but fills the corners of the mouth with a very light bit of tangy character and a medium-light somewhat bitter herbal note. It is very drinkable and very rewarding with every sip.
Overall: The brewery knocked it out of the park with this beer. It's noticeably well made and flavorful while keeping an overall light and drinkable experience. This would be a great beer to enjoy after doing yard work or even hanging out with some friends on a hot day. It is very enjoyable and it would go well with foods with a slightly bitter edge to counter the mild sweet corn character of the beer; perhaps an arugula salad or some bacon and butter coated Brussels Sprouts. I would highly recommend this beer as it is a "stop and take notice" beer of quality. I don't know when it was made because I can't find a date on the can or label, but I can recommend what I ended up buying. I would definitely pick it up again. I hope this one is around to stay.
