I don't see a date listed on the can.
Appearance: The body is a light lemon yellow color that is almost opaque but allows some very faint shadows through the glass. The head is large and fluffy with a rocky consistency. It has very good lacing and retention. It's a great looking beer.
Aroma: It smells like lemon pepper at first and then a light hint of peach gummy ring aroma comes through. A light urea scent too.
Taste: Up front there is a mellow pineapple skin and just a light bit of vegetable flavor like cooked cauliflower. The middle has a nice grain flavor with a hint of alcohol. The finish is bitter tea flavor and white pepper.
Mouthfeel: It is smooth with a low bitterness that is mostly this herbal bitterness akin to a mellow tea. Carbonation feels good.
Overall: The can states that this is "MADE WITH BARLEY MALT WHITE WHEAT MALT FLAKED WHEAT MALTED OATS CITRA HOPS STRATA HOPS ENGLISH ALE YEAST." The flavors are good and the aromas are really nice. The beer does scratch the itch if you're looking for a good New England IPA but it isn't likely to blow you out of the water. I could drink it again, especially if I was at a restaurant. I would recommend it.
