I don't see a date listed on the label or the can.
Appearance: The body is a pale gold color with pretty good clarity. It has a fluffy white head with very good retention and cobweb lacing. The body has a light bit of cloudiness.
Aroma: There is a pleasantly sweet aroma of grain and sweet grass with a touch of spice.
Taste: Immediately there is this strong grassy bitter flavor which makes the beer hard to drink. There are bits of lime and strongly overcooked rosemary with raw grass flavor and strands of green onion. It isn't a pleasant flavor. There are some notes of sweet hay grass but every sip is overwhelmed by this strong and obnoxiously bitter flavor.
Mouthfeel: It feels very raw and overly bitter with a strong grassy astringency that is not at all pleasant. The beer itself is medium-wet with a light and slightly sweet finish but it is ruined by the grassy bitterness.
Overall: I didn't like it. I bought a four-pack of this because Benchtop usually does a very good job of making something that at least deserves a four-pack. The beer was far too grassy with an odd bitter astringency. I don't recommend it. I wouldn't buy it again. I will be more cautious of future Benchtop Beers.
