Near the barcode on the can, stamped in ink onto the label: "11/30/22"
Appearance: The head is medium-large, fluffy and white. It has outstanding head formation, retention, and it leaves amazing sheets of lacing that just stick to the glass everywhere. The body is a lemon yellow color which is nearly opaque, allowing only very fuzzy shadows through.
Aroma: There are light notes of white pepper, lemon zest, and grapefruit. There are also light hints of garlic and onion. Peach creeps in from time to time as well. The aromas are nice but soft.
Taste: Up front there is some light grapefruit. There is a touch of pineapple in the middle. It has a slightly grassy finish that combines with a touch of grapefruit. The quality of the sip It depends on the sip and if there was a palate cleanser. This beer seems to have better flavor if consumed by itself without a palate cleanser, because the grassy character gets lost after a few sips when the flavor builds up.
Mouthfeel: It is light bodied an easy to drink. Carbonation feels good and bitterness is low.
Overall: There is a grassy character to the beer that keeps popping up but aside from that the beer drinks good. I probably wouldn't recommend it to everyone but it's worth trying a single pour or can. I will enjoy the rest of the cans I bought but I probably wouldn't pick it up again.
