There is a stamped date code on the label next to the barcode: "03/29/23"
Appearance: The body is a deep lemon yellow color which is very hazy but dark and fuzzy shadows are still visible through the beer. It has a large and somewhat oversized white head that is very lumpy and looks a lot like frothy sea foam. It leaves large continents of lacing on the glass and it has excellent retention as the head fades out to a medium stature.
Aroma: It has a mango and garlic scent which is very deep, with a bit of a pine twinge at the end. It has a light hint of hop bine oil. The overall aroma has a medium presence and it is pretty nice.
Taste: Mostly grain flavors come through with this beer. It took a couple of sips to see if there was anything at the front of the tongue or any hop presence around the sides of the palate, but mostly grain flavor comes through. There is a bit of pineapple character towards the middle but most of the presence is grapefruit pith towards the back of the mouth. The aftertaste has an orange pulp and peach flavor. The hop flavors are on the light-side.
Mouthfeel: It is light bodied and easy to drink with low bitterness and a light bit of a mineral texture.
Overall: It is drinkable and it has some alright flavors but it is pretty forgettable. The label states that this is "7.0% ABV" and the alcohol peeped through every now and then but it mostly did a good job of hiding the alcohol. The beer seemed to have more malt presence, which came across as raw grain flavor, than hop presence. The hops seemed alright but it wasn't anything worth recommending. I probably wouldn't buy it again but it's one of those beers you could drink if somebody passed you one. The can states that this is made with:
"BARLEY MALT
WHEAT MALT
FLAKED OATS
CARAMALT
CITRA HOPS
MEGA MOTEUKA HOPS"
