From the label on the can, stamped and indented: "08/02/23"
Appearance: The body of the beer is moderately cloudy and it has a light sun tea brown and gold color. The head is medium-sized with a seafoam texture and it has an off-white, nearly tobacco stained yellow, color. It has pretty good head retention that slowly fades and rebuilds as carbonation rises, leaving wisps of lacing on the glass.
Aroma: It smells a bit like toasted nuts. There is a light bit of carbon aroma which comes across a bit coffee-like. It seems alright but a bit off for the style.
Taste: Nutty up front with notes of pecans and hazelnuts. It has a bit of coffee in the middle which interestingly makes it taste a bit like hazelnut coffee. There is a light bit of toffee towards the back. It has a bit of a mossy and earthy black tea leaf flavor on the finish which is nice.
Mouthfeel: It has a body that rests heavily on the bottom edge of medium-light. Carbonation feels a bit high for the style as well, and it gives the beer a noticeable perkiness when the style is normally smoother. It has a light bitterness.
Overall: The label on the can states that this is an "ENGLISH STYLE BEST BITTER" with "4% ABV." It is a tasty beer that has some nice nutty characters with a pleasant toffee character towards the end, but it really doesn't drink like an English Bitter. I would still buy it again and I would say it's still good enough to buy a 4-pack of but it won't quite scratch the itch if you're looking for an English Bitter.

This beer could be an APA if not an IPA. Very hoppy with a very obvious malt base behind it. Aroma is minimal. Finishes dry and bitter. The ABV is low.
