From the pint can, it pours a hazy light amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets some citrus, pineapple in particular. The mouth follows with a pleasant light citrus flavor with malty notes. Overall pleasant.

This one was pleasant enough but the aroma and flavor were neither NEIPA or West Coast. More of a generic AIPA than anything. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a 12 oz. Iced tea glass, this beer featured a clear light gold color and a bug foamy white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma and taste included some bready and caramel malt and some mild piney hops/hops bitterness. The overall aroma and taste were very pleasant even if nothing stood out. Mouthfeel was light, crisp, and mildly bitter. I wouldn't turn one down, but there are more distinctive NEIPAs/AIPAs out there.

From the label on the can, near the barcode in black ink on a white label: "08/09/23"
Appearance: It has an opaque body that is lemon peel yellow. There is a very short head that is white and doesn't last long. The head just leaves a thin ribbon of small bubbles forming a ring around the outside of the glass.
Aroma; There is some of what smells like the oil that accumulates on hop bines. There is also a good deal of garlic and onion aroma. It smells fresh and savory.
Taste: That hop bine oil flavor comes through near the front of the palate with a distinct plant-like flavor. The flavor doesn't really change at all but there is a bit of a flour note that develops a bit near the middle of the palate and it lingers a bit in the aftertaste. It tastes a bit like flour left over on the crust of bread or a pizza peel that might have been dusted with flour. The flavor tapers off a lot near the end and it tastes a bit watered down.
Mouthfeel: It feels very light and it is very drinkable. It feels a bit watered down and there isn't much presence on the palate.
Overall: It's drinkable and there are some nice notes of what smells and tastes like the oil on the outside of hop bines, but there isn't much character or presence to this beer. It tastes and feels pretty watered down. I wouldn't quite call it a flop but it doesn't have as much character as other Benchtop beers like Science is Crushable. It's good enough that I can enjoy the rest of the beers in the 4-pack but it's not one I would buy again over the better alternatives from Benchtop.
