This is a foeder aged lil' baltic porter. It is rich and luxurious at only 5.5% abv. Notes of coffee, chocolate, rich caramel while maintaining balance and a light finish.

From the can, it pours a clear black color with a modest head that soon diminishes to a ring. The nose gets roasted and chocolate malts with a light burnt scent. The mouth follows, with the burnt notes coming through and a lingering slight burnt flavor remaining after you swallow.

16 ounce can poured into a Spiegelau wheat beer glass.
No date.
L: Clear dark brown pour, large 2.5” tan head, spongy foam is very persistent and leaves sticky clumps of lace.
S: Roasted and chocolate malt, hints of sharp spicy hops and a trace of smoke.
T: Sharp and roasty with a woody bitterness, underlying caramel and nutty sweetness, cold brew coffee.
M: Medium body with a “thin” lightly crisp feel.
O: Not bad, less alcohol flavor than a traditional Baltic but the overall flavor is still pretty robust.
