From the pint can, it pours a hazy brown color with a modest light tan head that soon diminishes to nothing... The nose gets caramel and bready malt. The mouth follows with the same - notes of caramel and roasted malts. Overall, potentially a great brew, but diminished the short lasting carbonation. Possibly a bad can?

Good Scottish Ale!! Poured from a 1oz, can into a tulip glass, this beer features a medium brown color with lots of golden light coming through when held to a light. The foamy head is antique white/very light tan in color with slightly better than average retention and patchy lacing. Aroma and taste are malty - both somewhat sweet caramel malt and bready malt with some earthy/herbal aspects. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is rich, malty and a little sweet. Alcohol is well hidden. Very enjoyble
